Jason Ferg's New Album Titled 'Woke+Righteous'

As an independent artist, Jason Ferg enjoys the freedom of creating music that is inspired by and true to his real-life experiences, perspectives, and convictions without the often compromising demands of the "big machine" aka the traditional, commercial record label. No dis to the big machine. It exists to make money. While he certainly doesn't mind reaping a financial harvest from his music, that's not the reason he is here. Jason Ferg Music exists to make a difference.

Jason's journey in creating Woke+Righteous has been informed by his own internal fight to maintain balance among a host of things that are deeply important to him. His spirituality, love for family and humanity, disdain for injustice, and commitment to living a life of purpose have all been challenged in the face of our current socio-political climate. These songs gracefully helped guide and recalibrate him through this season. It is his hope that they might help others in the same way. He also hopes to spark deeper dialogue about how we can collectively balance wokeness and righteousness to shape the world we want to see and live in. We can't wait to share this new album with you soon.
